My home pc gave up the ghost so I am totally lost and have not done much towards this challenge for a couple of days now. I can only access internet from work at mo and am only a part timer so am a sad bunny coz I felt I was doing so well.

Am working on getting pc up and running and am going to make a list of offline mfn things I can do but I do feel as if I'm having severe withdrawal symptoms!!

Well done everyone though coz you're all still doing brilliantly and the threads grown loads since I last logged on.

    Luv Jxxx

Oh dear... I don't think I'm the person to be explaining it just yet! Its taken me so many reads through the explanatory thread before its made sense in my head... but once I've started it and made sure I know what I'm doing I'll happily give any help I can!

I need to get up to £75 though so am really going to charity shops in earnest today... to a different town and everything! :rotfl: I have £10 to spend so will have to choose carefully.

Have a good day everyone! :)

  • Found 21p today which is better than the rest of the week together

wish people would start dropping more money on the street

at the moment the boots voucher should make me £7.50 profit

Will hit the charity shops for cds (luckily having done ebay for ages i know the best ones to go for)

Have another £17 from a friend who we spilt the profit on one of his items as a return for a favour

Mounting up slowly, but too slowly for my liking

Will send FHM a SAE and hope the £10 comes before this one finishes.

If not it can be used for the next £1024 challenge

the chart ones don't tend to make much as everyone and their dog are selling them

some of original ones for the 80s make money, if you are in a local one, make a note of the cds, check them on ebay and go back later in the day if they are profitable

sold a tv themes cd for £8 which costed me £1 (wan't free so can't count it in the challenge)

Oh I'm feeling really despondent - because of work have still only got my £4 and no time to buy/trade/put on E-bay etc. I will see how things go this weekend - harrumffff.

Awww, don't give up! I felt a bit despondent at first but you'll get there eventually! Perhaps set yourself an interim target... don't think how you're going to get to the total amount, just take it a tiny step at a time :)

I went on a charity shop spree today and got quite a few dvds, books and toys. 10 items for £3.15 and a quick look on ebay suggests they should make a fair amount. I got one Mickey Mouse soft toy for £1.25... its a 1989 one so thought it would be worth a bit more than that... found out one just sold on ebay for £7! Mine is not in mint condition but still :j :D

Will list them all asap when my camera battery is charged up
