Found the £1 by the postbox just down the road.......may have to go for morning walks in the hope of finding more.
Boyfriend has also been told that from now he will automatically forfeit any cash left in his pockets for stuff thrown in the washing basket!!!:rotfl:
This is great fun when you put your mind to it but is in danger of taking over my day!!0 -
I've decided to start with the Ciao money even though I can't physically withdraw it for a couple of weeks. So I now have £6.20 to start with!:heart2: Mumma to DD 13yrs, DD 11yrs & DS 3 yrs. :heart2:0

Oh dear... I'm getting behind you all already! I have my £10 from pigsback but I really don't know what to do with it. I've looked at some charity shops etc but not had any luck... perhaps i just need to be a bit more adventurous and take a bit of a risk! Think I will persuade a friend to come with me to a bigger town on saturday in the hopes of better luck. And I'm going back up to Sunderland at the end of the month (was at uni there until a few months ago) and the charity shops there are fab :T
I'm impatient though...
Also, struggling to know how I will speed up the profits later on in the challenge... I'll have to get into gear and find some good wholesale gear I guess!Don't stress, relax, let life roll off your backs. Except for death and paying taxes, everything in life is only for now... Hi everyone
I've bought a couple of bundles of clothes from Ebay. I got 23 items for £14.54 which included postage. I therefore want to get at least £1 per item to make a nice little profit. I like what benedictadams said about putting the cost of listing fees into postage. I only usually charge £1 for postage for clothes items as they aren't that expensive to send but I will up this so that I can save on the fees.
I'm hoping that the mannequins that I got from Ebay yesterday will help sell these items well. It would be fantastic if I got at least £2 for each of them.
I'm going on a charity shop marathon tomorrow so I am hoping to pick up some great finds. I've got a few good ideas of things to do to boost my total but I'm going to keep them to myself for the time being
