I am loving this thread so much I have pledged to join up! I don't have loads of free time as I work a stressful fulltime job but I do as much as I can (what my boss can't see...lol!)

Ok so I have just banked £45 in Pigsback-Betfair profits so a flying start!

I 'bought' a digital camera on Empire Stores website using a code (which is now sadly out of date) - cost me nothing - only a 2MPX but it's decent and I have that on Ebay for £20 inc P&P. Plan to scour the sales on there for some saleable items.

I do nails in my spare time and have invested in some nail products to sell on ebay - making a £3 profit on each item.

I have a 1 lesson voucher for BSM driving which I got free with a theory DVD - will be going on ebay for £15ish later as lessons are £22 minimum with BSM.

Am taking my driving test on (cue scary music!) Friday 13th Oct so all driving stuff (books DVDs etc given to me by friends, who don't need them back) will go on ebay. If I pass!!!

Just got a pair of new crystal Warehouse earrings off Swapitshop - not sure if they are sellable yet but a nice treat for me if not ;)

Also you can get money sent to you on swapitshop - pound coins etc. Free money for the kitty!
  • Haven't made anything today, however my betfair account through pigsback (didn't have to buy or pay for anything) is actually £15 not the £10 i thought

Am waiting impatiently for the cheque to turn up now as i have seen something which i know i can make a profit on

Hoping that some of the stuff that i have listed on ebay will actually sell soon

(when i calculate the postage i factor in the fees apart from with the Boots voucher doh!)
Debt of £6300 cleared in 5 years, now ZERO
  • Well using my initial £40 gained from a freebie I bought a book for 75p from a charity shop... It's just sold for £10!!

I'll add this to my sig once I've paid the postage.

Well! I put my BSM voucher on ebay in my lunch hour and it sold in 10 minutes flat! a £10 profit!

Now I am putting loads of free things on there in a bid to make more lol I've got the bug!
  • are people putting their piggypoints into betfair and then gambling, or are they putting it in there to turn into cash, and then withdrawing the cash?

I just request a Betfair voucher from Pigsback and then requested a cheque from Betfair to withdraw it. Works at the moment!!!

    Hi,

Well done littlestar - wd u mind saying what w/site you sold your book on coz mine don't seem to be selling (greenmetropolis/amazon).

Well done Kitty Kate - brilliant result!!

Rebl43 - How long did it take for your free sims to come through? Do they come in a box or will they fit through letterbox?

  • I sold it on Amazon... was a kind of Sociology textbook.

Amazon seems to agree with me, I've made a fortune selling my old uni books. Of course they haven't counted towards this thread as I had to buy them, but the one I just sold does as I bought them out of my free money!!

I'm off!!! I found a pound!! Couldn't believe it and nearly yelled out loud.

I've decided that all the money from this challenge will go into Daisy the Mortgage Pig who currently has a very empty tummy.

Have wasted a couple of hours rummaging and have found loads of bits to sell.....like Lancome Juicy Tubes and eye make up which I got in a gift bag at a (free) show recently. 4 Mills & Boons books and a purple wine goblet for free trial offer (have never even read them). Boyfriend has asked me to get him some CD's...said he'd give me £10 per CD so I can keep the difference. Every little helps!

Have also set up pigsback account and had a brief read of the thread. Any good tips for free points welcome.

Hee hee, where did you find the pound? With pigsback, I'd go to the thread on the freebies board, and look at the second post. It's got lots of sign ups and has the quizes that give you points etc :)
