Right, I received a cheque from Betfair for £10 this was from clickthrus on Pigsbacks, so I'm finally off the mark and without selling any precious money-off coupons!!!!
Everyone seems to be doing really well......keep up the good work and all this positivity!!!0 -
Emily - I think it's a bit harsh not to allow the vouchers rebl43 metioned. Does that mean that you can't use Quidco money because you spent to get it? I've just put my Tesco Clubcard Deals on ebay - will I not be able to use anything I make off them towards this challenge?JUST DO IT ONE BRICK AT A TIMEPROUD TO BE DEALING WITH MY DEBTSWeekly Budget: groceries£50/petrol£50/Unnecesary£15DEBT PAID = 58% (£4,212/£8216):T0

Hi... After I posted the weekly update late sunday evening there has been some activity!! Thought I'd therefore just post a quick update....
Total participants = 23
Total generated from nothing so far = £770.71
I think that's pretty amazing for the first week. On average we have generated just over £33 each.
Next full update next Monday. Remember if you want to be included in the update to put details of this challenge in your signature - equally if you'd like to be removed PM me.
Thats all for now folks! Off to do more sewing..., think I've exhausted the free bingo offers.....

Hi jpet77 - I'm with Emily on this one. This challenge is about generating money from nothing. If your quidco money is from free click throughs and sign ups that require no money spent then thats fine (and I know there are a few of those on the quidco site!). However if we say this is okay - then it opens it up to being about selling what we already have and already spent upon. IF with the money you have generated from nothing, you then use this to 'invest' in stock to sell, 'matched betting', 'matched deposit on bingo' etc then I can't see a problem. It just means we are all starting from a level playing field. If you get a free money off voucher through the post - then by all means sell it - but if you had to spend initially then I'd have to agree that it shouldn't be allowed. NB - I think you also need to have the clubcard number that correlates with the clubcard vouchers for them to be valid.

Right......am always sending off for freebies (two arrived today courtesy of MSE!) so have some of those floating around along with a huge pile of promo Nivea for Men stuff that I picked up free in a shopping centre - boyfriend unimpressed so they can go on ebay.
I also have a free bet waiting to be used on totesport and £15 freebie in betfair.
Also a giant Harrods 20th Anniversary bear - unwanted present so ebay for him!
A question Emily.....if freebies from Boots and Tesco points don't count because you've had to spend money to get them, doesn't that also mean that our Quidco and Greasypalm kitties won't count for the same reason unless they involved no outlay? I don't know about pigsback etc as I don't know how they work.
Now....what else can I find in the back of all my cupboards.....:D0 -
oops...someone else made the same point while I was typing.0

Yeah, I won about that amount too! Now, how do we get our cash?
I suspect we need to deposit £10, then probably even stake all of it, so we will in fact come out with £10 profit...."I have enough money to last me the rest of my life, unless I buy something."0 -
Hi,
thought I would update. Made £40 from a free rowing machine. The mum has just given me 10 euros - so have had these changed and that's £6.75 to the total. Spent £1.75 on some books in a charity shop so hopefully they'll sell for fab profit soon (well £15) on Amazon.
