I bought 2, they are quite big ones that you can actually display clothes on. I thought it would help when it comes to selling some clothes on Ebay.

Have you looked on Ebay for the jewellery ones? They sell all sorts of display mannequins on there.

Oooh, just what I was going to say, you beat me to it!!

They now have dublinbet but it seems there is a fee for withdrawing credit with them :naughty: So... back to vouchers I guess! Could always sell them on ebay for the purposes of this challenge.

Hi everyone - time for a new challenge (running alongside my clear a debt a month challenge and my head to head challenge :D ).

So here's the inspiration for this challenge. I once read a story about a guy who set out to make over £1,000 from nothing. He did this by starting off with £1 and finding ways to double this each week. This could be from buying and selling, gambling, shares etc.

He managed it and made over £1,000 in under 3 months. I have always wanted to try this so I am going to :D - after all I've got nothing to lose!!

So here's the plan, I'm going to start by trying to make £1.00 out of nothing (any ideas welcome ;) ) and then double it each week. Here's the dates I need to keep to:

    £1 – by 2nd October

    £2 – by 9th October

    £4 – by 16th October

    £8 – by 23rd October

    £16 – by 30th October

    £32 – by 6th November

    £64 – by 13th November

    £128 – by 20th November

    £256 – by 27th November

    £512 – by 4th December

    £1,024 – by 11th December

    Let the challenge begin :D

    Emily x

(anyone wishing to join in will be more than welcome :o )

As requested - here are the rules of this challenge:

    1. Any cash that you make must be created from nothing - you cannot use your own money to create a profit and then use that profit to start with.

    2. If you wish to sell items on Ebay then please use items that you personally didn't buy. These can be a present, prize, freebie etc - as long as the item didn't cost you a penny, it's ok.

    3. If you wish to use cashback from a site like Quidco, then this must have been generated through a free method and not from internet shopping. If this money was raised through free offers and clickthroughs then this is fine.

Please let me know if there is anything I have forgotten - good luck and have fun!

    Do you smoke???
    that's about £360 already.............
