Did the spreadsheet work when you placed the bet? Cos otherwise you might have calculated the lay stake wrong!I hope it all works fine! :T
I have placed the qualifying bet for a £50 free bet from Ladbrokes, so when that's settled tomorrow I'll have a lovely £50 free bet to play with... hopefully a fair amount of profit to be had from that one!!Don't stress, relax, let life roll off your backs. why are people in this country so rude?
ended up at three jumble sales today, and only got one thing worth listing, and and each of them people were walking into me (at 6ft 1 i can't be that hard to miss) and not one of them said sorry.
I got my freebie avon gift from ages ago, which i'll list as free p and p at half of what the avon website are charging.
I won't upload my listings til Monday to benefit from the reduced listing feesDebt of £6300 cleared in 5 years, now ZERO0 -
hi.. ben........i hate rude people........at the end of the day manners cost nothing..........and our family lives by the good old bikers motto.....treat me good ...i'll treat you better..........treat me bad.....i'll treat you worse........
and good old fashioned manners and respect goes a long way.......
apart from the bruises where peeps were bumping into you....what was the items you bought ? i have got a baazar type thing on monday......in our local community centre.........i'm all excited as the last twice i have been to something like that......i picked up a load of fishing stuff for £1.50 which funny enough that's where hubby and the youngest buy is now.... hoping to catch some sea bass
and the other time i went i picked up a boys 70's leather jacket...which my youngest loves....and that was only 20p
i find jumble sales are a dying breed now...
anyway sorry been a bit quiet on the old challenge front...things have just got on top of me lately, and my depression hasnt helped either......
i have £40. to add to my total.... scrap men came around again yesturday and managed to get £40. off them for an old banger that was given to us for spares....he did offer £20. then came back and offered £30.... but we stuck to our guns and got £40.... the price of scrap is up at the moment.... and the scrap car dealers are getting £75. a car round here...so if you got a scrap car what ever you do dont pay them to take it away.... and never take the first offer they give you.......
so will update sig...Work to live= not live to work0 -
it was a ted baker shirt, which i got for 1/3 of 50p (as i got two shirts for me), but i'll add on the costs of the jumble sales to the shirt.
Do churches still do Christmas Fayres?

Well I think when totesport matches my first bet I will be about £40 up - I could not get the damn spreadsheet to open but the guys on the newbie thread were great and worked it all out for me - well apart from using my keyboard they practically did it for me!
As soon as the results were in - guess what - the spreadhseet opened - I think it was fates way of making sure I didn't do it by myself and make a complete *&%* up of it!!
BTW if you go to a jumble sale stick out elbows - those sweet little old ladies can turn right nasty!!!!!!!!!!!!0 -
