Can I make £1,024 in 11 weeks from nothing?

Just browsing on soccernet & found a code for a free £25 bet on Betfair (why couldn't I have found that last week So for the benefit of those who haven't signed up with Betfair yet (or who have more than one debit card ;-), here it is.

1. Join using the code FTB125 before you place your first bets.

2. Make a deposit to your account & then bet at least £25 in one bet or a series of bets. You can withdraw all of your funds at any time.

3. You'll receive your free £25 as soon as the result of your bet is known.


So basically, put £25 in, make your lay bet, and then you'll get another £25 fur nathin' to do your next one.

Going to check out matchbetting in a mo...is it the same as arbitrage?

Really enjoying this thread, I have sorted a load more bits'n'peices to put on e-bay on monday.

May need some advice after I run out of junk!

Arbitrage can be a part of matched betting but the profit comes from converting bookies' free bet offers into cash. If you can find arbs you make more profit

Thanks Dan, I have just had a look at the matched betting thread, but i am none the wiser. got the bit about using the free bets but then what do you do??? There are so many pages to the thread I don;t know where to start!

Sorry to be a pain, any advice would be good as this all sounds quite interesting!!! (even telling me what page start on would be helpful!)

Only the basic eBay Insertion Fee will be reduced to 10 pence. All other eBay selling fees will still apply, including but not limited to Final Value Fees, optional Reserve Price Fees and all Listing Upgrade Fees such as "Gallery", "Subtitle", "Bold" or "Highlight".

Its good if you've got things with a high starting price but is only a 5p saving on things starting at 99p

hi all im back just started with match betting and cant really lose i may only gain 70p without my free bet but thats still profit. then got the £25 free bet. thats on bolton and sheffield united through stan james and betfair. so hopefully will be able to update my signature soon with some more profit.
