Hi All,
Great thread!! I just found this thread today, but it looks like i have been an "accidental" member since June! I set myself a similar task, attempting to raise enough money to cover my Student Loan. I started with a referral from someone for opening an A&L current account (£50 plus £20 of their end....well they offered £45 of their end, but I asked them to donate £25 of that to one of the MSE charities)
Anyway, I started at the end of May and used the money to try out Casino loophole offers, plus later on some matched betting. Having just checked my total profit after 11 weeks, I was at £2056 profit, so I guess its definitely possible!
I realise some people find the idea of "bonus bagging" scarey, which is why I wanted to use only "non salary" money to try this. Currently my profits are around £5500 after 6 months, so my Student loan is covered (although I don't intend to settle until I have another £2000 or so in my pot to carry on bagging with)
Its a great feeling to know my biggest debt is covered and that I can now think about treating myself occasionally with the "free money" profits!:j :j
I hope people aren't upset if I have "hijacked" this thread, if so I apologise, but I just wanted to show it can be done!
Thanks for a great read.

Hi Bizarro - I've just had my first go at matched betting, so well done you!
Fantastic going to pay off the student debt!!0 -
Just increased my target by another £6.20 and have many items on ebay finishing in a couple of days. Also managed to get a ton of free books some already listed - some yet to list so they will go on my total if they sell. Also have some FREE items listed on Amazon hopefully they too will sell soon. So I'm on the final push to reaching my target with only a few weeks to go.:eek:0

Everything apart from one item is making a profit.
I'm not sure whether i can add some money a friend gave me for this target.
Hopefully by the end of the MFN challenge i will have enough for my flat deposit and the navitity set!Debt of £6300 cleared in 5 years, now ZERO0 -
Hi,
I put loads of bits and bobs in the bargain pages on Fri and have sold a carpet I inherited for 25 pounds - I'm wondering if I should have asked more for it because I've just had another phone call about it!! Well - 25 pounds more is 25 pounds more!! I suppose I should just be grateful!!
And I've also had an 18.20 return on a matched bet so the grand total is.......160.53 (still can't get bl**dy pound sign to work - have managed to edit signature through the link in private messages though)
Next target is 256 (have to make 95.47 in 2 weeks - which seems to be manageable thanks to this challenge whereas before I would never have thought it poss!!)
Thx again Emily and all you fab people taking part and keeping me motivated.

I have been reading this thread for a while and thought I would tell you about my Ebay success today.
I got two tillspills from Tesco 100 points and 50points. As I did not need diswasher tablets or cheddar cheese decided to sell them
They sold to the same buyer as Buy it Now within 1 hour of me listing them for £3.50.
I charged 40p postage and the fees were 58p (would have been 38p if I had listed them tomorrow.)
Every little helps as they say - I say thank you Mr Tesco.
Also can I say well done to everyone you are doing really great - keep it up.Save £12k in 25 No 49
