Yes it does mean exactly that, if the books are light you will make on the postage, if heavy it could cost you money!!!!0 -

The websites that you mean, where you need to deposit money to get free bets and/or cashback would class as using your own money. I've not seen one yet that doesn't require you to wager at least some of what you've deposited, and you would be using money from other sources! Once you have £10 (hopefully from fhm) then you could use that to deposit... there are some on quidco that will offer £30 cashback for depositing and playing £10, and you might even win more :T Thing is, then you have to wait a month or two for your cashback from quidco
Good luck everyone!!
thats great thanks kath :T
iv joined quidco but everythin involved money! hows about if it was somethin i had to buy anyway and there was cashback from that? guess that not allowed either...?0 -
i allways start my ebay listing with the min... amount that i will except for it....unless i put a reserve...or if i am VERY confident that it will increase to the proper value... but this can easily back fire.....
please dont forget.. when pricing.. and working out the postage and packaging costs.....
ebay listing fee..
ebay final figure fee
paypal....charge...
the actual postage cost....
and the cost of the packaging.. jiffy envelope...bubble wrap... special postage bags etc...
so i work out all the costs before listing the item...and use that as a base to work fromWork to live= not live to work0 -

Have you had a look at https://www.greenmetropolis.com for selling books, its is an easy site to use and costs much less than amazon. There are standard prices for books and you can add some extra for postage if the book is bigger than a standard paperback. It can be slow to sell, particularly if there are lots of books like yours listed, but the process is easy and you'll probably make more from it that those ridiculous 1p ones on amazonI only sell books on amazon when they're going for a reasonable price.
sazzler are you subscribed to any dvd rental companies? If not you can have a trial from one through quidco... this is free if you remember to cancel before the trial is up and you will get up to £12.50 :T Will take a few months to come through quidco though. Try Screenselect or Lovefilm for £12.50 but be aware you can't do both because they've recently become the same company and you can only have one trial per address, not per person.
I managed to play 40p worth of slots before I got kicked off fhm earlier.... am off to try again now!

Hi everyone
I got a few things on my little jaunt to the charity shops this lunchtime- I have purchased:
A Bob The Builder cuddly doll for £1.50 which is in really good condition and is quite a big doll so hopefully I will get about £3 for that.
A lovely cosmetic case for a teenager which contains nail polish, lip gloss, eye shadow etc - it is all brand new with tags still on it (cost £8 in the shops) and comes in a lovely metal case. That only cost me £3 so I'm hoping to get at least £5.
A boys checked Next shirt which is in mint condition and is for 3-6 months old - that only cost me £1 so I'm hoping to get at least £2 for that.
A gorgeous Christmas teddy bear with hat and scarf on which is brand new with the tags still attached. That only cost £1 too so I want to get £2 for that hopefully.
There was loads more there but I didn't want to spend all my money in one go so I though I would only spend half of it
I have also bought a DVD from a friend for £6 which I have already listed on Amazon and I'm hoping to get £9.50 for it.
So I am down to 50p until I manage to get some more cash

I would say list them on Ebay. I have got a load of make-up and toiletry items that I have just sold on Ebay and they went like hot cakes. Ok so some of them only got a couple of quid and then a pound for postage but if they are free anyway then you've got nothing to lose0 -
Well I lost all my money at FHM
but I guess it was better to try than to wait 6 months for them to send me the £10!!!
So... back to the start! *thinking cap on* :rotfl:Don't stress, relax, let life roll off your backs. Except for death and paying taxes, everything in life is only for now... Avenue QOfficial DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 003Proud to have become debt free... and striving to keep it that way

Aha! I have just realised that I had requested £10 credit into my betfair account from pigsback. So.... I've withdrawn it from betfair and it should be in my account next week (and not refused like smelly fhm people!!!) so that's me back to £10! :j And it was from points that only just came through from signing up to mansion (no money involved) so hopefully that counts! :A
Car boot sale and charity shop weekend still on then..... :j :rotfl:Don't stress, relax, let life roll off your backs. Except for death and paying taxes, everything in life is only for now...
