  • I have lived in my house from new- it is now 3 years old and doesnt show on this map- it also locates me in rotherham for some reason and im 200 miles away from there in christchurch, dorset!!!!

    my house looks like it is wiute a recent picture. it is no more than 18 months old I know that by the car which is on my drive.

    google earth images are abot 4/5 years old though.
  • How do you get it to show the sat images? I cannot get it to work at all. Just said "not found" for my address...

    Hahaha I typed in my address which is 51A... etc and it came up with:

    "The closest match for '51a xxxxxxxx xxxx' is 'Area 51 Military Base, United States'. "

    Always thought my neighbours looked a bit strange!!

    You can also try http://maps.google.co.uk/ much faster and no download required. You can switch between Maps, Satellite and Hybrid.

    They aren't swimming pools, I do the same, lay some blue tarpauline out in the back garden so everyone on google earth thinks I have a swimming pool.
