"A Baggage Fee is charged for the carriage of each item of Checked Baggage. The Baggage Fee may be prepaid at the current discounted rate of £3.50/€4.50 per item of baggage/per one way flight when making your reservation. If the Baggage Fee is paid at the airport or through our reservations centre, the full rate of £7/€10 per item of baggage/per one way flight is charged. Baby buggies, wheelchairs, scooters and walking frames are carried free of charge."

The 'full rate' would make the Baggage Fee cost more than my suitcase cost new. Could be cheaper to either: a) wear all your clothes on your person; or, b) use a laundromat at your destination ; and/or c) buy cheap or otherwise disposable underwear for your journey - all of which make the flights more attractive for day trips or one-nighters.
I agree absolutely - but we're going for 4 days, and without contact lens (and contact lens fluid) we're both as blind as bats! Seems a bit unfair that there are certain things you have to put in the hold, but then you have to be charged for the pleasure of doing it. But at £49.80 for two people to Italy, I'm really not complaining!0 -
Can anyone quickly offer some advice? Going through Flight Checker, it tells me on the 7th December, from LTN - Milan Bergamo, it is 0.01 both ways, but Ryan Air says 0.01 going out and 22.99 ppe/w coming back any ideas?0

The correct price will be the one on the Ryanair website.aj3001 wrote:Can anyone quickly offer some advice? Going through Flight Checker, it tells me on the 7th December, from LTN - Milan Bergamo, it is 0.01 both ways, but Ryan Air says 0.01 going out and 22.99 ppe/w coming back any ideas?
So your wanting to go out and come back on the same day?
There is a flight back on the 8th or 9th thats cheaper."Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away."0 -

Contact lenses in solution are permitted in the small lens holder containers, but they won't permit large containers of cleaners, saline solutions etc.0 -

SNAP!
I am looking for a flight Bristol to Dublin going out on 7th December returning on the 8th and it's showing as free on the web link, plus 9.99 tax, but when you book it totals at £47.00 ?
Can anyone help ?0 -
On the Ryanair website its coming up at either £20.48-£23.98 depending on what times you want.Easter_Bunny wrote:SNAP!

Because children shouldnt travel right?
I have often taken my kids on buses, trains and the tube, always get dirty looks from someone who assumes kids should stay indoors.
Has this Ryanair special closed now or is it on until tonight?0 -
Special is still on until midnight tonight.
Before booking a return ticket, check how much the return leg would be on it's own. I was just about to book a return ticket from Stansted to Girona for £20, but checking the return leg on it's own is €10. So £10 for the one way there, €10 for the one way back, even better bargain (even allowing for luggage and credit card fees).0
