The June 6-jul8 Dubai to Dover looks good.
Yes, it does but I've done everywhere except Dubai & Oman.

I fancy the wide Iceland to Panama range of the other sector, even though I did a Panama transit in December.

Do you happen to have a contact for booking the 30day to LA? Just to see what they quote me and I can have a look for a reasonable one-way back from LA.

I'm still interested in hearing what you thought about the Marco Polo?

I think I would try princess direct, the number on the email was 0843 373 0333
a lot of good princess deals
We are considering the dubai one but flight and tips and trips(lots of new ports) will add up on yop of the £1kpp.
still thinking about the Fjords 19th June
Might end up with 2 weeks on the Jade or the spirit we get a lot of included stuff with NCL.

Just phoned them .She has "nothing on the system at those prices at all"! Quoted me £5100 for sole occ cruise-only for the 30n Dover to LA! I laughed all the way to the pawnshop.

I'm thinking it may be the offer is for "select" people only, such as yourself and , if so, makes me less inclined to consider Princess cos that kind of sales approach stinks IMHO! (and yet that deosn't make sense either as the TA must have it if they can do a flight-inc for £1399)

Thanks for that. Am back on to cruise1st now and they are checking with princess as they still have the lower prices on their system. Will post again when they get back to me. Now, looking at the e-mail, it seems she has quoted me just the standard undiscounted sole occ for an inside - it says reduced from £2700 so £5100 would probably be about right for a sole occ. (These cruise "original prices" nowadays are going the same way as supermarket wine, aren't they (ii.e. add it on before you take it off)

Fancy a late deal? www.Vacationstogo.com have a few good deals on at the moment between now and June. For example there's the adventurer of the seas ship (royal Caribbean). Insides are advertised at £189 the AOS embarks on Saturday 26th May going from Malaga for 7 nights.

I called the uk 0800 number and kept getting an error message. So I called the usa 1800 number (I put 001 first for country code) and a nice chap answered the phone. Including taxes it works out about £222.

Easyjet flights with bags (why can't ladies go with just hand luggage lol) made the final total £398 each.

NCL Epic was advertised £303 for 7 nights 27th May leaving Barcelona.

Cant remember the name of the company but there was a cruise on 26 or 27 may, 7 nights I think for £176 on a Spanish ship called the sovereign ex royal caribbean with all inclusive drinks. However taxes will probably turn this price into 350 judging from a couple of other sites pricing it at 199 euros plus 199 euros taxes.

Forgot to say you need to register with vacations to go before searching the site for cruises.

Re vacationstogo, uk based travellers cannot book thru them for certain cruise lines including royal Caribbean
  • I think they must have changed their policy as I booked this late deal for AOS, royal Caribbean. I even said to the operator that I was calling from the uk and he still took the booking and sent through the confirmation via email:beer:

Interesting. Maybe they are putting the policy statement on their website to keep the cruise companies happy, and then just ignoring it ?
