Was on the Marco Polo when it was still Orient Lines- another smaller older ship. Even the 80-somethings on my dinner table were complaining about the (small) portions at dinner.

I prefer smaller portions, I can order more off the menu(hopefully more than one thing I like).

Now run by cruise and maritime, we will see on the 10th what it is like.

Now run by cruise and maritime,
Yes, I discovered this when reading about the Norovirus incidents last year. On Orient, there was always a member of staff with a bottle of gel who made you use the gel when entering any of the restaurants. Very strict but I have no complaints about that. I was so surprised to read about the repeated outbreaks and then noticed the change of ownership.

I have complaints about that: the gel gives people a false sense of security which means they are less likely to wash their hands properly. Since the gel doesn't kill Noro you end up with more chance of it catching hold, not less.

There are gels coming onto the market that are effective against Noro but they aren't widely in use yet. Until they are I'd prefer to see people encouraged to take sensible precautions.

7nt cruise from naples aboard msc orchestra £286 on 14 or 21 april. This deal was from an email from vacationstogo.com

Great Med itinery for those looking for a different med itinery.

There are other good deals around the £300 mark up until end of June. A great deal if you can't wait for a better deal to come along.

Anyone been on the msc orchestra?

Just back from my latest trip and saw your post only today.

It's a lovely ship. One of the ones with lots of balcony decks, plenty of bars, big theatre. Did you want to know something specific?
