It'll be unlocked, all the phones I've got from o2 have been unlocked.

I cannot believe that a "new" smartphone has a screen res of only 320x240! This is even worse that the almost 2 year old curve 8900 - what are BB playing at?

yea, for years they been doin unlocked and unbranded. the only branding u see is on the screen showing network. never on the handset. thats y get fones from em! i have never seen an O2 branded handset.

where did ur mate buy it?!

this is the new model i want it came out two weeks ago and look on ebay someone is selling it and see its branded ..

ive just a 9700 from O2 and it came unbranded with very little O2 software on it
