Both me and OH got a blackberry 8520 last weekend (contract with Virgin) and we both absolutely adore this phone. I'm used to boring Nokia phones but OH has an HTC touch pro and he says the BB is far superior to his old phone. It's attractive, the keyboard is easy to use, it's light as a feather and in all honesty, I wish I had one of these ages ago. We can't compare it to the 9300 because we've never used one, I just came on to tell you how awesome we both think this phone is!
Good luck on your quest :-)Yaaay, I finally conned a man into making a honest woman of me. Even more shocking is that I can put the words "Happily" and "Married" into the same sentence and not have life insurance on my mind when I say it ;-)0 -
£200 on the o2 site for the 9300! Better phone than the 8250, seems better built, 3G is a plus as well.Smoke-Free since 15/11/08

9700 is an even better phone lol0

one is 3G and probably flash based and the other is not.
which is 'better' depends on what u 'need'.0 -
then ull be fine with 2G. its actually not that much slower. i have a 3g handset but turn 3g off coz it drains battery.
social networks use very little data, unless its ubertwitter, or another non OS application, but once u play around with the apps ull fine one thats best. most just stick with the official ones though. minor data used!0 -
thanks for replying yeah i have unlimited internet on tmobile anyway, and also is the 3g curve alot fast as in speed wise like loading apps etc if its not that much i might aswel get the 8520. 0 -
3G speeds are slightly better, my sis has the 8900 with no 3G and I have 3G done side by side comparisons and my 9700 loads websites load faster.
They are very much the same phone, apart that the 9300 has 3G, Wifi N, will support OS6 when released & GPS over the 8520.Smoke-Free since 15/11/08

So what would you recommend? What will be the benefits of os6?0 -
OS6 should be smoother, with a better a browser and user interface, likely to be released at some point next year0
