Hi and well done from another ex smoker ( and I still like the smell but hate people who smell of ciggies - wierd or what).
If you need more nicotine replacement check to see if getting them on prescription will be cheaper.Find out who you are and do that on purpose (thanks to Owain Wyn Jones quoting Dolly Parton)0 -
Well thanks tealady! It's been over a month now and I only keep my microtabs about my person incase of "emergencies", but I'm doing alright without them. I still get the occasional craving, but I very quickly think of the money I'm saving, the health issues (no more niggling chest), and the guilt and disappointment in myself I used to feel when I quit for a while and then started again!

well done, keep up the good work, seems hard at the moment but get easier, i myself have given up three times but no going back this time, been 5 weeks now, yes i still love the smell of the smoke but not when it's on a person. it's hard for me as my o/h still smokes although he smokes outside, i could easy rip the gig out his hands, a lot of the time he says he forgets and lights up in the car or when walking besides me, he should have given up the same time as me but he's backed out. i only ever smoked 10 a day but i dread to think how many he smokes. anyway i am shutting up about it coz i might want one, good luck in your quest. will look at this no smoking thread myself i might need it after this2016 Jan Wins: 9ct white Gold Diamond Necklace £530.00, Doro Easy phone. Well done to the OP and I encourage anyone else thinking about to quit as well. I quit smoking on the 4th of October and based on my excel stop smoking calculator I have saved over £300 since then. There's no sense crying over every mistake.
You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.0
