Gutted, just been to Tesco Southport and they had loads of chocolate coins - didn't see this til I got home tho!! Might make another trip tomorrow if it's a nationwide deal?

Not a 1p buy but they had packs of 20 "Dumbo: My 1st Birthday" napkins reduced from £1.50 to 6p a pack. Great if you've got a little ones birthday coming up or if, like me, your not bothered what napkins say!

Am I right in thinking that before an item is discontinued it can go down to 1p? Sure I read it somewhere on here?

Anyhow, the reason for asking is when trying to buy a HM Armed forces soldier in a canoe (was originally £30 then £15 then I am sure at Xmas £7.50) I went to check the price and the SA said it was, item not listed so couldn't sell it to me. There was another on the shelf that did have a discontinued sticker on it, I took it to the self scan and it also wasn't recognised!

They have been around for the last two Christmases, but are quite good. So it may be worth scanning if you come across any in your local.

Also, in the same trip there was a shelf of about 5 little magic sets with 25 magic and tricks in, £1.97 SEL, got to the checkout and it again came up as item not recognised! So thought I would post here as these may pop up as 1p items before they go 'discontinued'!

Remember the small playdoh's on the clip strip, I got them at 20p well found 2 today and you guessed it....1p

I was in St R0110x today and got the following items for 1p each.

The SA nearly refused to sell me any of this and actually called over a supervisor.to approve the sale

toy story and disney princess surprise stockings bc ending 3915 and 3922
car metal 2 pencil tin wiv marshmellows inside bc ending 0937

and sum choc santas in a net! very happy

I can't resist a glitch, Tesc0s are selling weight watchers frozen meals for £1.75 each but if you buy 4 then it comes up as 4 meals for £5.00 but actually scans at £2.00 in total, do them through the self scan, that@s only 50p each, I know they are not the best but are handy to have in.:j:money:

I added some to my online shopping with Tesc0 last night and it did the same. I put 4 in first before anything else and the total cost was £2
