There was a whole strip (at least a dozen) packets of dormen spicy peanuts in the park farm store, ashford, today. They were marked up with yellow 1p sticker at top of clip. Last aisle in the store by the all the booze. I resisted after looking at the fat content!
  • In my local Edinburgh Tesco Express there was a couple of strips of the Lindt Lindor eggs. Some packets had a different b/c but I found some with the 534 stickers over the b/c and thought wohoo! Disappointment when they scanned at the full £2.50 :(

So be prepared to have the lovely assistants remove the unwanted item from your basket at the self scanner as they look at you with that "hmmm? you thought you were getting that for 1p din't you, last laugh on us kind of look :-)

I'll get my own back ;)

I was in Fa**h*m store today.

Christmas milk chocolate golden coins 75g reduced to 1 pence per pack (SEL actually states 1p!) barcode 5051790474149
Best before end: May 2012 so ideal for Easter treasure hunt :). I left store around 10 am and there were 4 shelves of bags!

Christmas milk chocolate tree decorations reduced to 1 pence per bag
barcode 5051898959531 Best before end: May 2012 (might crush them & decorate cup cakes).

  • Sorry if this has already been posted. The chocolate coins (meant to be clearance price of 25p) went through at 1p at Lea Valley Tesco's.
