Hi, bar code 534 is for the Lindor scanning at 1p, the eggs bar code is 1624. HTH

This didn't work on Mini Eggs in my local Tesco Express a few minutes ago. They scanned at £1.50 and no B1G1F either.

Mixed fortunes at 2 Tescos just now and kinda confusing. In both, The Cadburys mini eggs bag on the clip strip ending 624 did NOT scan 1p In one store was £1.30 BOGOF and the other £1.50 BOGOF yet same bar code, wierd!
The Lindt eggs bag ending 534 which is a sticker over the original bag barcode went through as 1p in the first store, so bagged a few YET scanned at £2.50 in the second store, whats all that about!

Best be careful and test first, hope this helps!

I managed to get some mini eggs ending in bar code 624 at 1p BOGOF and Lindt ending in bar code 534 at my local tesco. really pleased as i love lindt . The guy at the checkout couldn't believe his eyes! Both expire around july 2012.

624 for cadbury mini eggs
534 for lindt eggs

HTH..its a bit confusing when theres two similar deals on!

I got some lindt eggs today, they had a stickered barcode so neary didnt try as I thought the stickers must be the correction, but it was 1p!! Im taking a wild guess, but I wonder if the 1p sticker is supposed to be for the christmas balls?! (exactly the same packaging, but balls not eggs!

Yeah, I looked there too and the ones they had were a different barcode and scanned at £1.50. Tried the Express in Chezzy but they didn't have any at all.
Not tried the Metro in town nor the big superstore yet have you?

Im guessing they are for the xmas balls ... so when this is fixed, keep an eye on the xmas balls which are scanning full price in my store.
