I got trouted buying a mouse today :( manager very rude, said he couldn't sell it to me and wouldn't give me an explanation as to why and just walked off!!! Makes me even more determined to go back for glitches that does!

On a positive note though, I went to a different store earlier and was looking for Harpics. Could see Citrus, Aquamarine and Lavender. Then I looked up and saw an entire box of the odour stop! Bingo!

Also got 300 nappy bags for 27p (the 100s were scanning at 25p) not sure if this is the normal price, but it beats forking out a quid at pets at home.

Also found some tumblers with 4 for £3 stickers on and OH went to CS to get DTD...in the mean time I went and got another load and paid. OH then said CS sent someone to clear the shelf - I saved them the bother :D

Not a new find (it's on www.pennyitems.co.uk ) But I didn't think that in my Tesco, with no clothing dept, that I'd find them.

On a clipstrip in the baked beans aisle???:rotfl:

mens cotton handkerchief set, 3 pack for 1p!!!:j barcode 5052004162852

1 is grey & yellow check, 1 plain white, and 1 turquoise check.

I bought 4 and left 4, so if you want them they should still be there in the Lanark store!

I'll be checking all the clipstrips now! Found a mouse (of the PC variety!!) on a clipstrip with RTC of £1.97 which it is scanning at. Original price of £5.99? I'll check it next time I'm in.

Not sure if this may have been what happened to you but I had this issue once where I tried to scan coupon straight after scanning the shopping and before I'd pressed the 'pay and other' option.... HTH

Ohhhh....yes, that is quite likely what I did - I think I scanned my clubcard, and then as I was planning to pay cash I don't think i'd pressed anything else after finish & pay (if I even pressed that) ...should've pressed 'voucher' shouldn't I? :doh:What a wally! Still on the upside I checked one of the receipts I wombled from another store and have £1.19 voucher to print :j

Damn.... I was just looking for the SEL to say £25.00.

Didn't realise that they had a sticker on the box.... took one look at Ramsey's ugly mug and did a runner, didn't think to look for a sticker like on the glasses and megablocks.

Will be back at a Surrey store soon... unless I am beaten to it.

Got mine from a sel no sticker on the box. I just fill a trolley with reduced stuff, write down prices on a pad, then trott over to the scanner to see what I can get!
Please don't judge me. you couldn't handle half of what I've been through.

If you scan the item before you buy it and then go for dtd when you are overcharged arnt you worried about the sa spotting you and saying you knew the price error in the first place.

    they aren't THAT clever... :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

(nothing personal anyone :) just from my experience they just do it straight away/pretend not to know anything about it/need a manager to do it/claim the sel is for something else or expired and no dtd should be given - and most give up in the end... I always ask the SA to check the price for me before I buy, they never asked the SA who served me about anything they just go and check the SEL)

    Oh oh oh my turn!

    Todays haul included:

    8 x Harpics (96p in total)
    1 x Playmobil Pirates (1p)
    1 x Crunchy Nut Bowl (1p)
    2 x Mega Bloks (£0)
Unwins Vegetables Sowing Seeds - 4 for 3 not working so DTD (£3.48 instead of £4.97)
Another item that I think was store specific as another store had the item scanning for only 20p dearer wheras what I got resulted in the items plus cash back! Can't go into too much detail as anyone from that store reading will know fine rightly who I am.

    Now for karma:

The store withe the Mega Bloks had a couple left on the shelf so I told a lovely lady who was strolling through the toys what the deal was. She sent her hubby to pay (both of us paid at SS) then came up to CS at the same time I was getting CC points added. She said she'd just noticed that there was a £15 sticker cue me looking shocked at the 2 I had having the exact same stickers. God she played her part well :rotfl:

So the Crunchy Nut bowl. I happened to see a couple with the bowl trying to price check at a non-working scanner (what a surprise). I asked if there were any more but that was the last one. Told them they'd done well as probably 1p and told them where there were other scanners to check. So I'm at SS trying to hide my 1p Playmobil and my 12p Harpics when the husband walked up to me and handed me the bowl. He said as I had 2 kids that I should have it. They were so chuffed when it scanned at 1p. Another example of lovely people in this wee country of mine :T

Also, for reference, only found 1 Gordon Ramsey on my travels (I knew I'd seen it somewhere) but SEL was £50 and no sticker  Still, considering my folks had been at that store earlier and missed it I was chuffed just to confirm I wasn't going mad.
