Wow, are chilli nuts still at 22p? I figured they'd have put them up by now... I ate all my 5 packs at Glastonbury Festival (with a little help from some friends!) so I'm needing more! :money:
Yes - 22p for me today.

Not a 1p find, but managed to find the sweet chilli nuts today:j

Was beginning to despair, as every time I've been in, there was a big gap and a £1.39 SEL. But a whole case was there just waiting for me today. Only took 4 as I may not even like them. So there's 6 left for anyone who wants them (Lanark store) ETA: They are lovely!

Also checked the custard, up to 90p and a "NEW" item :rotfl:

Got a couple of the 19p Hartleys orange jelly too.

No black magic, only a small selection of chocs. But nice of Mr T to put the price checker right next to that section!:D

All in all a successful shop.

Well, no chocs, custard full price, got the speckled hen beer though for OH 30 cans for £20 .2 jars of the 20p pasta sauce, the £10 meal deal (not as good as sainsbury's but still a deal). Couldnt find any mice, harpics or chilli nuts tho. One day I WILL get a 1p find.

Is the a Friend of Martins here that uses Mr Ts Copdock Interchange store please? Just wanted to know if they have self scanners there please? Stowmarket don't and it's a 'mare' to get things scanned lol.
I'm heading that way from Stowmarket tomorrow, on the way to see Sally Morgan, and just thought I would pop in and see 'whats left'

There is one on car maintenance aisle.

No I didn't know about it till I read through the thread, also SEL said 29.97 which didn't help my case, phoned CS and they "logged the complaint" and confirmed that they don't have to sell at 1p.
She also mentioned that customers take advantage, que moi? :rotfl: I haven't had a tesco glitch ever !! :(

Just a point, logging a complaint flags the glitch which is then promptly corrected so everyone loses out. You then rob yourself (and others) of the chance to try again at another store :(

I'm annoyed the custard has gone up to 90p. Got one anyway though, I've fancied it since seeing this one come up a few days ago.
Also since the price has gone up a load of mini roses have suddenly appeared, I havent seen any in this store for weeks! Plenty of 20p pasta sauce though. This was at Birmingham Spring Hill. Another west mids MSER :)

Ask to take your complaint to the Customer Services Director (if it exists!)

Point out your article, and a gesture of goodwill they might let u have it

They are within their rights to refuse a sale for any reason as are all retailers. They most certainly would not let you have it as a matter of goodwill also you are making yourself known to the store by complaining and not just accepting their decision. It makes it harder for yourself next time :)
