1p finds at Tesco thread

Today's trip to Tesco was okay: I remembered someone saying the Tapas range, when reduced, knocks off the discount that should be applied when it's full price. So I got quite a bit of stuff for 30 - 40p each. I'm now up to 44 Dove deodorants, too (I thought I had more but miscounted) after almost getting trouted on two today.

That's about it. Nothing else to report. It's suddenly gone very quiet on the 1p/glitch front. HotUKDeals and people emailing CS have anything to do with it, you think?

No I didn't know about it till I read through the thread, also SEL said 29.97 which didn't help my case, phoned CS and they "logged the complaint" and confirmed that they don't have to sell at 1p.
She also mentioned that customers take advantage, que moi? :rotfl: I haven't had a tesco glitch ever !!

Ask to take your complaint to the Customer Services Director (if it exists!)

Point out your article, and a gesture of goodwill they might let u have it

Dh went to the portsmouth extra store last night not one thing for 1p Only black magics there were the £4 boxes. Oh well got my coupon items at least.

Is there any difference between the 'extra' stores, normal ones and the metro ones? Just thinking i may have better luck in a smaller store?

It wouldn't surprise me if Tesco now have someone monitoring this thread so they can pick up and rectify the glitches quicker.

I actually posted this a while ago, Tesco actually have someone in the office logged onto this site checking, then they report to the shop floor for the items to be removed or corrected. I didn't get any replies so thought no-one was interested. At least I tried.
