Is the a Friend of Martins here that uses Mr Ts Copdock Interchange store please? Just wanted to know if they have self scanners there please? Stowmarket don't and it's a 'mare' to get things scanned lol.
I'm heading that way from Stowmarket tomorrow, on the way to see Sally Morgan, and just thought I would pop in and see 'whats left'
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

Went to Failsworth Mr t's on way to work today
    6 x dove
10 x choc custard (left another tray there for others) but no SEL label
    1 x always SEL 75p
Tesco own brand tampons 16's super _ reduced to 40p on the SEL

but the best bit was chatting to my tame SA who told me about the beer glitch the other week, so surprised face really wow, yeah I kept scanning them and telling my customers 'hey they are scanning at £4 go get some more' ~ isn't he great!!!!!!! and he admitted to not telling the managerial staff about knowing it was on!!!!!

But isn't it the larger box thats supposed to be 1p? It seems the 188g box is a small square box but the reduced ones I saw few weeks ago was a big rectangle box!

Sometimes I really wish I lived next door to tescos..

188g was the only size they had on the shelf, will check the barcode tomorrow hope fully. Also will keep a look out for the bigger box if it comes in stock
hope this works playing around with some tabs/buttons things what ever you call them

I know there's a couple of Martins mates who go in Ashford, Middlesex so you may be interested to know there's a good two crates worth of the Chocolate Custard @ 10p and Reduced Fat @ 30p.

    I know as I just bought 10 chocolate and 5 normal :D

any martins friends in Doncaster-usually empty shelf where the offers were!:)

Im in Doncaster. Dont get to Mr T's as often as I would like (everyday!) as I dont drive so have to convince OH as often as possible that we really REALLY need more supplies :D. He is getting easier to convince now I have a little stockpile growing :T

Which store do you go to? My nearest is Woodfield but I have only ever found 1 metal toy story basket with 3 choc eggs in for 1p. Shelves are always wiped clean of the offers mentioned on here!

    I did however, buy.....

........a bloody water gun! £1, it cost me. The lady at the SS did give me some funny looks.

Please dont get rid of the penny items list!!! please!!!

i rely on the penny items list, as i have a terrible memory, and no printer, so cannot print off the items.
i love the friendly welcoming atmosphere on here, and i feel that this would make it... erm.... unwelcoming...
    xx

hi i don't even use the list, i have a full time job , a useless OH thats works away and 3 young children. Sorry to be rude but I use a traditional pen and paper to make a list as i go through the thread, works every time

I've been a few times too. They have the same mouse (correct model number) just the colour and barcode is different. I asked one of the staff if they had any purples one and he said that grey was the only colour they had ever had in.
Thanks for that- won't bother checking out again then.
I wonder how many folks have been really interested in mice recently?! Just think of the fun the security staff could have homing in on that aisle and the chocolates!:rotfl:

i know what you mean...i do that at the moment as i dont have a printer... but i also have 3 children, a full time job and currently another one on the way.... it could be just 'baby brain' but i am so terrible at remembering things, even with my list, i feel that i need 'visual aids' to show me the design on the packaging.... i have been tempted on may occasions to take the laptop with me to Ts...haha.

I just suppose im worried that if i cant get online for a day or so, that i will miss out on something.. (quite sad, i know) - but withthe list, i can keep track of it easily rather than having to re-read 20+ pages each time i am away.. :) x
