Hi all
I have just found this thread although I have been 1p ing for a long while.
Is there anyone in my area that hasw had any luck lately?? I am in Southend and the pickings are very lean.
No teabags in Extas or Express and many items still scan at full price.
One of our checkers has been "vandalised" lately so its a long walk to the only remaining one, but still worth it, if you know what I mean.
We had a big clean up a couple of weeks ago in the Southend Extra and two lorry loads of **** was sent to Pitsea, so perhaps thats why!!

Any comments would be helpful as I'm getting depondant.

Quick question from me (sorry, I know I'm always asking q's and don't have any amazing finds to share atm ) but does anyone know if the Manufacturers coupons (like the £1 Lenor) work on the self scan? I'm busy planning a list for an Extra visit and need to be organised but (if I hopefully find some bargains) I figure SS can be a good option.

I also have a £2 off £20 voucher, I'm assuming if I use this first (before the £1 off Lenor etc) that I should get the £2 deducted and then the other sums off my bill? perhaps? I'm hoping? (trying to plan a £20 only shop to take full advantage )

I have read on this thread that people have had success with 1p items from Pitsea, can't remember exactly what but maybe that is the reason there's not much in Southend if, as you say, they sent it all there.

I used my dove & hand wash vouchers (6 of them!) - but after 2 vouchers the SA will have to approve the voucher

I agree the vouchers do work on SS but are a bit more of a hassle!

Its the dettol £3 off the automatic hand wash things - really cool - woke DH up to how him the night i got it - how sad lol
