Hi Mazcabs, my local is Tesco Extra Goodmayes (where I went today). I also use Hornchurch and sometimes Beckton but haven't found anything in these apart from some roses a while ago (although these do have a price-checker and Goodmayes doesn't )

    HTH :)
Thanks Winjackie, I tend to use Rainham and Lakeside, not ventured anywhere else as these are within 10 mins of me....but you never know
Heading out to Aberdeen Westhill now. I desperately want some 1p mice. If I can't get them there does anyone want to swap one or two for some Roses? I should still have 20 odd boxes out at mums if my sis hasn't ate them all.

I would really like a mouse as well. I too can offer a packet of roses.....:D:D
Mum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.

you keep posting about "your jugs" but you are yet to post a pic or a barcode to help others....

I don't 'keep posting about them', others do and it'd be rude to ignore them.

I've already said I washed the barcodes off before I realised how important they were to people here. I have a picture, just can't upload it. I've asked before and I've now asked again, hopefully this time someone will be able to advise.

I've been wondering about this one too! It seems to have been on the pennyitems list for a while, but I'm not quite sure what I'm looking for. Will be hitting mr t's again later, and will have another look.

The jelly is just Hartley's Orange, in a block, for 19p. The rest are about 40p. Picked up a few the other day.

I upload o photobucket then click on the URL. This automatically copies it. Then, when you are posting, click on the box that looks like a yellow box with 2 mountains in (the icon for inserting images) and then paste the URL in the box that opens up. Hey presto.

I'm not very techy (not tetchy ;) ) so hope this hasn't confused you. :)

Thanks for that, for some reason I was thinking they were cheaper - 6p.
Orange jelly is lovely if you stick a can of drained satsumas before setting. Very refreshing dessert!

Found some Jacob's cheeselets at my local the other day - the xmas tubs but they scanned at £1.99 - booo!

    thankyou for posting

its not HUKD specifically i object to (she says racing out with car keys in her hand:D)

i often post deals i've seen there not here because I know certainly i don't have time to keep up with this site let alone 2 so others may benefit.

what i am starting to be unsure of the spreadsheet and whether it is worth just handing the information on a plate to people who aren't part of our "community" and aren't contributing

i guess that's a decision of the founder of the spreadsheet thepearce who hasn't commented yet

The list was something I made to help myself. Then I thought it'd be good to share it with others as it (especially the pictures) may be helpful. It was well received, has grown, and is now updated by two other MSErs. I purchased a domain name to make it easy to find.

There'll always be lurkers / leeches using the info and giving nothing back but there's nothing you can do about it. You can't stop them without disadvantaging others.

If deals like this are not shared then I'd have never known about it in the first place.

The rate this thread is moving of late I don't often have time to read every post.

Hi, jumblejack. That's what I'm doing, but when I've selected the pic from my folder, it states 'file size is too large'. I need to reduce it but don't know how! Thanks for the advice anyway, I'll give it another go now, just in case.

It's a bit of a waste really, especially as my local T's don't even stock milk in a bag.

Are they not stocking the milk bags at all? I didn't think mine did but they are with the jugs, not sure if they will continue to stock them.

The bags can't be very strong as one had leaked and there was milk dripping everywhere, so be careful when packing your shopping as could be messy if you pack your milk bag with that spiky pineapple.

  • don't bother - no 1p mice in Westhill and all the mint thins, orange segments, and turkish delight all at a pound. No harpic - in fact no bargains to be had!!

I never seen any. I guess they could have sold out or still waiting for them to come in though.
