Lovely day in the sun today, then nipped to T's.I was going to have a day off after last nights late run to get 3 mice,Mouses?:oWas so pleased with them. Then withdrawal kicked in. Got 6 doves and so excited as I turned the trolley down the peanut aisle their were 8 packets of chilli peanuts sitting waiting for me!!!My OH loves these and am struggling to find them, so was definately worth going for.Off now for a barbie and a bit more sun, with a nice cold smirnoff ice:T

Thought I'd join the feeding frenzy at 3.45pm aka our local reduced meat/chilled section. Pleased with the bargains and, just by chance, walked down the sweets aisle toward the tills and ROSES leapt out at me. Really wasn't expecting to see them and was "forced" to take them all to the till. :o

Saving money right, left and centre
  • I went into Reading Tesco today, and managed to buy 11 boxes or Roses :T
Also picked up two mice but got caught at the checkout - the cashier said they were return stock and were not meant to be on the shelf at all
Oh well, I might try another day

Managed to get 8 boxes of Roses last night. Perfect for watching Glastonbury-went lovely with Elbow and Coldplay! Went back today and got 9 more. As I was walking down the sweet aisle there was a young Mum with 2 little ones nagging for sweets so I gave the Mum one each for them. I also gave her the 1p list for the future. She was really pleased and the kids were thrilled. Space where Sweetcorn was empty but 8p SEL was there. However no mice. Spent my £5.00 rewards gift card so chocs and other shopping free. Thanks Mr T

Love that with the penny list. The other day when I was in T's I saw an older couple looking at all the puds in the freezer section. Had just got 4 more Belgian choc puddings so told them they were going through the till at 87p and were lovely with a bit of ice cream. They were well chuffed and when I was paying for mine they were at the next till with 3 in their trolley, made me feel good all day:) and I did the same on the gardening glitch, told a young couple about the BBQ's at the wrong price, as they were obviously trying to work out what they could afford.Told them if they didn't believe me just to check on the self scanner, they looked at me like I was mad!!! then realised I was serious,I love spreading the glitch love:rotfl:
