1p finds at Tesco thread

Yay!!!! I got the Roses at my local - my second ever 1p find. Last time it was one packet of hello kitty mini eggs. Thanks so much to everyone on this thread.

My hubby usually grabs 1p bargains in bar hill on his way to /from work they had the harpics and chilli nuts , also have the strawb tarts and choccy puds!

Yessssssssssssssssssss!!! Thank you to all you lovely people, I finally got my first 1p item from Tesco today I had already been to the price scanner once with some harpic and noodles, but no luck, then went past the choccie aisle and saw the roses with an SEL of £1.32. Took one back to the price checker, and sure enough - 1p. So I picked up 10 and left 8 there, then had to decide which SA to try as they all looked grumpy - then cheerful bloke got on a till, so I made a beeline. I tried to keep him talking so he wouldnt notice the price, but he just said Wow thats a bargain and fair play to me for finding them lol He said they have never been told not to sell penny items, and if Tesco had got their stock ordering wrong it was their own fault I was tempted to go back in for me but decided to quit whilst ahead. I have been searching for months and had all but given up hope, so it pays to persevere

Sorry to ask, but would someone mind telling me what chilli nuts I am looking for? OH loves things like this and I'd love to try and bag a few tomorrow.

BTW, many thanks for the prev posts about the 20p pasta sauce...though sadly now up at 38p in my local store now (an outrageous price lol!)

I also have loads of returns to do - tesco clothes and B&Q so mite nip into 2 differnt tescos and see how it goes.

Dove Beauty now min of £1.96 at Asda, so you're best getting at T's. Just watch out if you're doing something where you want to get the TPC back, don't mix it with Fairy or any other regular shopping as could well reduce your money back. Fairy will knock off 30p off as 2 in A's will cost you £2.80 over £2.50 in T's.
