Westwood cross Thanet don't have the mouse.

I've decided I'm a saddo getting redressed and driving 20mins to tesco in the hope of another 1p bargin :rotfl:

I went up there about 10.45pm last night as I get through mice far too quickly (have a habit of dropping them) and went through all the mice trying to find the right one.

May be nuts enough to try Manston today or even whitstable :D

This! Also, I'm a little concerned that Tesco might be making more from me with my increased petrol usage than I'm saving on 1p items. I think it might be time to dig the bike out of the garage :D

Where did that come from?? hardly welcoming newbies.

Sorry, but to be fair to Stebiz and others, it doesn't help when newbies come on and ask these questions without any effort being made to even check a couple of pages on the threads.
And thats about the third or fourth newbie that i've seen in 24 hours asking similarly lazy questions on all of the various Tesco threads.

I'm all for welcoming newbies, i'm still one myself really, but come on guys, if you're a genuine newbie at least try to read a few posts.

I agree with that. I was just taken aback by the rant- as I haven't seen this from Stebiz before. It just seemed out of character.
If I see a question that I think is "lazy" I just ignore it( well I hope I h ave always done this, unless I am having a bad day:rotfl:)

The list is such a "must have" that I think we really need the link in the first couple of posts. I'm sure Jenny could add the link but I think a better idea is for the owner of the link to pm her and ask if she would be willing to start a new thread. The link could then posted by the owner after Jenny's initial post. That way the thanks would go to the right person; the information is easy to find and we don't get fed up with newbies asking for the link. :)

No mice at tesco bangor (north wales), would have really loved to get a couple, but I manage to console myself with 18 boxes of roses which had been re-stocked! Managed to sneak them past the ss lady who stopped me buying 2 roses the other day, although I was already prepared with my "if their not for sale they shouldn't be out" argument just incase!

They had plenty of the belgian chocolates (had none the other day) but correct £5 sel. Was shocked at how tiny the box is for £5! But maybe it just seems pricey as I'm used to paying 1p for roses!

A rather hectic day and maybe it could have come across a bit different. But first post which in essence said 'can't be bothered reading the thread, just give us a list' doesn't go down that well.

I always try and read back a few pages first. But maybe that is just me.

jumblejack - the offer had finished on Wed. and they'd left the SEL on.;)

Sadly no Roses in any of my stores, but whilst looking I did find the above DTD.
Ask me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies
  • Yeah that SEL label said £1.32, I checked them on the self scanner just to check first lol and the barcode is 5 034660 518235 Hope you manage to get some! :D
yep still there at £1.32, good news is they have filled up with stock dated november, there was a couple of july ones there too, thank for putting the BC helped as they havetried to hide the price checker at the front of the store with a battery display and a ring binder??????, luckly they did not hide the one in clothing

stilll at least a case full 11am today
