If they were truly withdrawn there would be a customer recall advert displayed to allow customers to bring items back for refund if there was a danger.

They certainly would not be on the shelves if they posed a health risk to consumers.

The liability issue would be massive.

Feel free to scoff with a clean conscience.

Finally got some 1p roses at Loughborough Rushes! Hubby thought I'd gone mad buying 16 boxes at £1 each but he realised his mistake when they scanned at 1p each! Daughter will be giving them to her classmates at the end of pre-school as she starts primary school in september. Thanks guys!!

seriously where did you find these products? pm me at least ha! i went there yesterday and couldnt find much. they dont sell them sweet chilli nuts, checked the normal aisle near the freezers section. Did try scanning one of them gilette fusion razors and spare (as stated on penny items), it came in at £3 compared to £12.99 as says on shelf. A bit of a difference to the 72p stated on penny items like!

I got the majority in Bloomfields but I did get a loan one somewhere else but for the life of me can't remember where.

Just back with my haul got 8 tins of Dove deoderant @ 5p each with coupons, 9 boxes of Roses, 2 of the Wireless Mice, 4 of the Harpics and 6 bags of the chilli nuts. The roses and the mice were my first ever 1p finds!! Very happy. Went to Llantrisant store afterwards but the Roses scanned full price there.

The Roses were on the bottom shelf with the other chocolates down by the freezers, next to a three pack of Farrero Rocher both had SELs for £1.32.

The mice were with the other computer accessories round past the clothing department, they were mixed in with the grey ones, the SEL had had the price torn off.

i dont know if its just me or what but on https://www.approvedfood.co.uk,they dont sell it for 1p, but it seems that they have a few of some 1p item, dont u think?,like the noodle thingy the choco eggs ect...., dont u think they buy it off from tesco n sell it on there website?

They almost certainly have deals with major supermarkets for discontinued stock.
