hiya just wondering which store you found the mice and harpic i usually go to the llantrisant store but have found no 1p bargains so far lol

The Mice were in Llantrisant, but I took the last two purples ones, sorry! Hopefully they will re-stock. Llantrisant did not have the correct Harpic, the one on the penny items showed the Odour Stop ones, they seemed to have all other scents but this one. I did manage to get my hands on the Harpics in Bridgend (Cowbridge Road) Tesco Extra but I had all 3 of the ones on the shelf (sorry again!) Both stores had the sweet chilli nuts though, but not many left in Bridgend. Hope that helps

Love that with the penny list. The other day when I was in T's I saw an older couple looking at all the puds in the freezer section. Had just got 4 more Belgian choc puddings so told them they were going through the till at 87p and were lovely with a bit of ice cream. They were well chuffed and when I was paying for mine they were at the next till with 3 in their trolley, made me feel good all day:) and I did the same on the gardening glitch, told a young couple about the BBQ's at the wrong price, as they were obviously trying to work out what they could afford.Told them if they didn't believe me just to check on the self scanner, they looked at me like I was mad!!! then realised I was serious,I love spreading the glitch love:rotfl:

Yes I know makes me feel good when other people get bargains too. The young sa who served me last night was fascinated and said there was probably a stack out back. Only one little tray of 9 when I went in. Just watered the garden and rack of lamb with dauphinoise potatoes and cauliflower cheese for tea. All paid for with DTD and Reward card. Looking forward to Take That at Wembley this Friday with my grown up kids. I have promised I will behave. Maybe take some Roses to eat?

I'm going there this week and will see what happens! Is it safe eat these items if they have been withdrawn? 1p is good, but not if there are health risks!

Great name, btw, Dawnie! I'm the same, but I end mine with a Y.

I have eaten about 30 boxes of roses over the last couple of weeks, chilli nuts and the Colmans Luxury Sauce ... the only side effect I have is my waistline .... and a little stress going through the checkout ... the date on my chilli nuts is November, the Roses were a mix of November and December and the Colmans sauce mix was next year.

Try and find a CBA young man on a till and not a troutfish. Good luck.

This is also my action plan :rotfl:

Managed to get 12 boxes of 1p roses at basingstoke today - pre-school pressie's sorted.
Also bought Tesco value baby bath to use as cheap bubble bath - shelf price was 17p but went through till at 5p!
I am learning to check my receipts when i have paid for things now at Mr T's thanks to this thread ! You never know what you might find on them.

My Mum uses Tesco value Baby Bath as she can't use scented stuff our local hasn't had it in for a few weeks, I bought 3 bottles on Wednesday, shelf said 11p, I presume thats what we paid, she checks the reciept, I need to see how much it went through for.

Our local didn't put the price check scanners back after the refit, I asked one of the assistants the other day he said he was told they aren't putting them back, spoke the manager who is useless, on Friday, he says he'll look into it. Good cos if he doesn't I'm getting on to Cust serv how am I supposed to check if my items will go thro for 1p :rotfl::D

Yes we wuz robbed Tesco Value Baby Bath 500ml did come up as 11p like it said on the shelf on Wednesday Barcode 5050179444438

Looks like the spaghetti is up to a whopping 40p!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Got 4 packs while it was at the bargain price of 10p, but I'd still pay the 40p for it. Not sure if this was just in Scotland though??
