1p finds at Tesco thread

Finally managed to find 5 packs of peanuts, still not restocked the roses or the corn, tried the fruit shoots but didn't work but did get dtd back on an expired porridge deal

So gutted I missed the beer glitch, I got the email on my phone as I was just about to drive out of the carpark, quickly skim read it and thought I'll read it properly when I get back, as I had hot pies to take to my grandparents. Anyway got back read the deal :eek::eek::eek: near enough through the pies at granny said be back soon beer tesco. :rotfl:
Got there picked up 6 packs go to SS SA comes over "oh we have to put these through on department. so thats 6 for £40.":mad:
Me" Oh is it? I'll leave it then"
Then the supervisor (who has a dislike for me from using coupons and getting her in trouble for not accepting them) comes over wants to know why I don't want them:eek:
Just said I changed my mind :rotfl:

I'm so happy!!! I finally found my first ever 1p bargain this morning!!! I saw the roses today and thought I'll try them at the self scan, and sure enough it came up as 1p. I think my eyes nearly popped out when it flashed up at that price. After scanning them I was off to grab more. I managed to get 9 boxes, along with 6 Doves, free can of spam and 2 fairy liquids all for £1.89p. Chuffed to bits. Needless to say at the self serve I was petrified that I'd get them taken off me, as my vouchers needed assistance. She didn't seem to mind and even wanted to know where I got my vouchers from. Lol

I thought I found my first 1p item today....the roses (68g) but they scanned at £1.32ish. Has my store just manually changed the price?

I don't think so, but those are VERY similar to the penny jugs I have! Except mine are transparent. Didn't look today for more as I was so excited by the beer glitch. Perhaps the transparent ones are being phased out? I think my store has a lot of old stock as the penny dog toys I posted about haven't been found elsewhere either (at least not reported on the thread).

WOOHOO I have beagged my 1st ever 1p Tesco item.

I got the roses, then there was about another 70 on the shelf, and up high. So I went back and bought 26 more, for my son to give as leaving presents to his friends.

Got to the self serve and the SA came over and said can I juat borrow one of them, I need to check it, so we can remove them from sale, as there not supposed to be out on the shelf as they are marked down as waste.

I could have mine, She had NO choice, I'd already paid for them, but we had a really good conversation about cheap prices and in that store Sony TV's that are supposed to be £500 were scanning at £50. Some got through then it was spotted and all sales of TV's were stopped. Well done to the people who got that bargain.

The Koko truffles need to have the right barcode. The newer pack with pink side panels will probably scan at full price. You need the pack with turquoise side panels. In our store the cheaper packs had been pushed to the back with newer stock loaded on the front of the shelf. So much for proper stock rotation!
