1p finds at Tesco thread

Oh dear so embarrassed went to tesco and picked up about 20 boxes of roses hid them under my shopping but woman at self scan saw them and said give me a shout and i will help with your roses she then said are they 1p i said yes she went to check nad i never got them all through before she came back and made me cancel it all as the SEL said £1.32. I mean really why be a trout its not your money!!!!!

been lurking for a little while, never managed to find any 1p bargains, thought I was mse's most unlucky 1p hunter...until today! Found the Roses chocs! I was amazed when one went through the self serve for 1p. My heart was pounding so much as I raced back to get a few more boxes and scanned them all, however the self serve kept telling me to "wait for assistance" and I was sure I'd be caught, but nope the sa just waved her card thing at the till and let me carry on.

I was so delighted as I left the store with my haul!

welkl done i got my first yesterday and went back to try get more today but as they were beside the fathers day stuff in the 1st aisle they were gone and i couldn't find them anywhere else.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned but the sweetcorn has 8p SEL in 2 tescos i checked today so shelves cleared!

well they had plenty left tonight, so maybe you'll get some. ok thanks I like the tesco's in carrick better because it has the price checker, which always helps!

That's where I got the info from! Riversway Cumberland sausages, SEL £2, scanning at £4.39, DTD £4.78 and rollerskates were stickered at £8.67, SEL at £12 or so, DTD £6 approx (can't remember exact prices as the sticker was 1/3rd off, so makes the numbers hard to remember). This was just over a week ago.
