Got a load of 1p items today in my local store:
And, last but not least, probably store-specific, but I moved a few boxes of chocs searching for Roses (never seen any in my store) and found a case of 'I 'Heart' Mum' chocolates in long boxes. Thought I'd hit the jackpot, so put them in my trolley and got to the scanner, only to find they all had reduced stickers over the barcode indicating they were 75p. I removed one (took ages) and scanned it... 1p! Hurrah! So now have 18 of the things. I really do heart my mum!

how did you get 18 of them if you only removed the sticker on one???:D

I have a £1 voucher for airwick as well

yes this lavender one has been 76p from DTD days actually (might be worth keeping an eye on whether it goes to 1p lol!) , my sister stocked up with quite a few then, my locals haven't stocked it for a while and only allowed one airwick per ip address so i never tried them again

Thank you (NOT) to whoever cleaned out my local store in West Yorkshire. Not a single 1p item available, just lots of empty shelf spaces where they should have been. Grrrr!

unfortunately this is bound to happen this thread is obviously becoming more and more popular, it is always at the top of the grabbit board (or near enough) and there are only so many 1p items, remember most is discontinued stock

alot of petrol can be wasted making speical trips that turn out to be disappointing-there is an urge to go "just in case"

be patient and keep trying x

This is why you should all dust off your bicycles! I woke up 7am this morning and cycled about 4 miles to my nearest Extra. After disappointment last week I saw they had restocked the roses, sweetcorn and sweet chilli peanuts  Even when there is nothing there, I still feel I've had a good workout cycling an 8 miles round trip. I go every day!

    On yer bike!
