well if they have they've done it pretty damn quickly:mad:
it was in the clothes section right in the middle - but i dont think they have been working of late, so maybes thats why they were removed.
i think we should start some kinda petition to get them reinstated nationwide - its either that or just do what i do when theres none to hand - either ask nicely for a price cheek ;) or just run everything through the self scanner and leave it if you dont want it :p

Hi, I will have a look in the middle section again over the next few days and will report back.
I also checked in the entrance lane ( was it yourself who saw one in the 1st lane?) but couldn't see any price check.

i think if we all inundate CS staff with zillions of items to pricecheck they might get sooooo sick of us they might fix all the broken scanners? I live in hope!

The SS girl I spoke to yesterday about customer price checks said she was fed up having to clear till screens after people had price checked goods and then walked away.
Oh how she wishes they were in tesco's. Would save her sooo much time.

It was really strange with the truffles. I scanned a packet in my normal T's and they scanned at £2, definately the right bar code, Then went to another T's about 2 miles up the road and they scanned at 1p and they were identical!

I had a brain wave tonight in tescos. All the offer sels expire next Tuesday (21/6) so if you go in first thing Wednesday and the labels are still up they will have to honour the prices but with dtd!!!! Gonna try it (if I remember to!!)

That's half the fun, seeing what you can get through. I love it when I walk out with a bag of 1p items, but did sweat a bit when I was self scanning for the third time in a row, but driving home after spending 54p I was well chuffed:T Taking my son took look at a uni tomorrow and I've got a few hours to kill, so have just googled the nearest T's in the area! I think I've got it bad.Usually I would be looking for the nearest shopping centre and costa!! Now it's T's:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

are you coming to manchester university??

if so, i'm helping out at the medical school.
