Aww choco I've had experiences like that and it's what's made me hate tesco as much as I do! Hope u kept ur reciept to return the full priced stuff.

My Mr T has a huge basket full of the right Truffles with yellow reduced labels .. At first I thought it said 72p but no the basserts have put them down to £3.72!!! Bloody cheek.. Every original barcode was covered too .. Grrr!!

Aww, thanks for the reply. I understand why they did what they did. It was just the way they reacted. Oh well. Atleast I tried. Lol. They have reduced them to £3.72, aren't they originally approx £3.98??

Not 1p but a bargain in my opinion - Willow Planter 50x50x30
    Barcode: 5 052319 350524
Reduced from £20 to £2 - shelf label states £2 and scans at £2 also.

the NEW self scanner at doncaster extra doesn't seem to scan anything now:(:(:(:mad:

had to take the numerous items including truffles, moments, chilli peanuts etc to the photo counter where a nice man scanned them

the yellow sticker on the truffles doesn't scan as a peep mentioned above so i tried my luck at the till where a supervisor was called who offered to let me have them for 99p:eek::mad: told her where to stick them (so to speak)

Hi, someone mentioned that there were price checks in Shettleston, Glasgow. Well, went looking for them yesterday and had no luck. So asked the SS girl if she had any knowledge of them and she said customer service informed they had been removed.
I can't remember who said they had seen these... Does anyone know if they are still there?

    Thanks

well if they have they've done it pretty damn quickly:mad:
it was in the clothes section right in the middle - but i dont think they have been working of late, so maybes thats why they were removed.
i think we should start some kinda petition to get them reinstated nationwide - its either that or just do what i do when theres none to hand - either ask nicely for a price cheek ;) or just run everything through the self scanner and leave it if you dont want it :p

i think if we all inundate CS staff with zillions of items to pricecheck they might get sooooo sick of us they might fix all the broken scanners? I live in hope!

Have you checked wether the plug on the scanner is off? I found in one of my stores someone had switched it off at the plug
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)
