I was brave and went through check out as had loads of clothes as well as a few food bits, think having the LO with me and chatting to lady helped keep her away from watching prices a bit, or maybe as she was 1 of the younger people didn't even be bothered by it.
Didn't think we would get away with it but got luckyMummy to Lewis Born Aug 100 -

Self serve till hint: If the £2 (or other price) yellow reduction label is over the normal barcode and the store sytem is loaded at 1p then it will cause a "wrong price" error on the self serve till and call the operator, Chances are this will mean the operator will remove the yellow label then will refuse to sell them when they scan at 1p. If you can remove the yellow label and get them to scan you should be able to get through without attracting attention. Hope this helps.
thanks for posting. i went to get some today and had loads priced at £2, an error came up at till and i wasnt sure what to do. SA put them though manually at £2 so will try taking the sticker off next time.0 -

While I'd be very happy to find any 1p bargains, I definitely wouldn't remove a yellow label or any other replacement barcode, in this instance the item has been repriced at £2, to tinker with the price label in order to pay less has just got to be wrong!0 -
