1p finds at Tesco thread

can someone confirm if all the pasta and chilli sauces we have been seeing has the reduced price on sel ??

i am sitting waiting for hubby to get home from work to see if he can take me couldnt be bothered getting the bus lol i will treat him to chinese on the way home lol

They had the reduced price on the SEL in my local stores.

Hi everyone,

Been away for a few days and what did I miss????

Well all the wrapping paper has been cleared out from all my local Poole Expresses, there are empty plastic holders on the side of the cards stand, I guess that is where they would have been but you all had a head start on me.

Missed out on the 28p oil too as my broadband went down until monday lunchtime to give my local Ts chance to take off the shelves. Was really fed up as had just over 3 days worth of MSE to catch up on. :mad:

But did manage to get olives and chilli (marked at 10p on SEL) so thanks to everyone have just gone back and added my thanks for all the new info hope I haven't missed anyone out.

Heres couple to watch, while looking for the Littlest Pet Shop mini puzzles I found Barbie and Hot Wheels 50 pieces same little box these are scanning at 38p/39p, sorry around that figure, so may go down further. They are on clip strips, one had this SEL the other strip had £1.97 I think.

Also found some Littlest Pet Shop figures but they would not scan with a price.

Good to see the thread still going strong. :T

Tried my luck in Tesco Metro, Belfast today after catching up on recent finds. As someone else pointed out all the wrapping paper had been cleaned out but I got the following sauces:

Homepride Beef In Ale sauce, 500g jar. Barcode 5 000354 401053 - 10p
Homepride White wine & cream cook in sauce, 500g tin. Barcode 5 000175 409610 - 10p
Both SEL were 10p. The trattoria pasta sauces were just above it but sold out as was the chilli

Hoping I might find some wrapping paper in other stores but I'd say MSE'rs will have scooped them all!

just been charged £1 in my local express not sure if gone up everywhere but one good thing was white sell for 55p so DTD 90p so only 10p

I've tried and succeeded & failed at the following:

Comber, Ards, Bloomfields, Springhill, Belmont Rd, Upper N'Ards Rd, Saintfield Rd and Holywood. If there were any there I took them I have an excess of girls ones though so I'm thinking of donating to friends & relatives who have girls.

Yup, my heart skipped a beat or two when I saw loads of the wrapping paper in a local Express.....tried one, but it went through at £1.00

Ah the price increase would explain why there we packets of wrapping paper discarded by the tills in Folkestone!

bought some Lloyd Grossman Chilli Pasta Sauce today, the for one packs, they were labelled as 30p per pack which I thought was cheap, but they went through the till as 20p each.
