1p finds at Tesco thread

Wow, you've been busy! I probably won't get to any others until the weekend, likely to be N'abbey/ Carrick direction so I very much doubt there'll be any left at 1p. I might have a check on some of the other deals in the larger stores.

Me too! I get the bus so always traipsing back and forth to work & bus with stops in the Metro on the way. It was fun carrying multiple jars & tins home last night after my bargain shopping came to 48p! I must try some of the larger stores for more deals, as we don’t drive we tend to do online shopping so can’t grab the better bargains.

I was up in Belfast on Saturday when I heard about this and the Belmont Rd, N'Rds Rd, Saintfield Rd and Holywood branches were all within a few miles of where I was. The Bangor ones are close together so not really going out of my way and the Comber & Ards ones I will admit were out of my way but I needed to go to Asda so 2 birds 1 stone with Ards shopping centre and a 10 minute detour to Comber!

As I've said before, anything to screw Tesco! :rotfl:

Also if anyone else here is in Stafford, they have restocked the 10p chilli cook in sauce, and reduced the lamb casserole jars to 50p. The other tinned sauces are still £1.40, tried scanning them. No pasta sauce other than the 20p basil and herb stuff (but they had a few trays of that).

still havent found anything for 1p but managed to get 2 jars of trattoria verdi pasta sauce for 20p each at an express store.

Ohh, Cakesandbakes, keep us posted on your finds in N'abbey and Carrick. If I trail my husband on yet another '1p, Tesco bargains wild goose chase' I may be heading for the divorce courts!

I did wonder if you'd spent all the savings you made on the petrol to get to all the different stores, lol. :rotfl:

I will do. Same here, told my mum all about it a few weeks back, spent over an hour in Bangor one trying everything on the list. She was genuinely raging with me that we didn't find one flippin thing. :mad:
I told her it was worth the try, she didn't see it like that :rotfl:

Normally in Mr T N/abbey but not sure if I can make it this weekend but sometimes manage to stop by Yorkgate on way home.
