1p finds at Tesco thread

i went to 3 rescos yesterday well 4 if you include the express 1 i got 20 wrapping paper from express thanx op then i got 10 chilli 1 pasta sauce 1 hello kitty choc eggs i also got 4 bunches of flowers which had been reduced to 3p bargain stain remover after coupon was 24p 2 dettol hand free soap wash after coupon 1.99 and some reduced bread i was so pleased with myself so thanx to all who post deals

Not a penny item i'm afraid but thought some of you might be interested. Microwavable mash (the type that is usually in a 2 for £3 deal) had an SEL in my local for 65p!! It's 500g. The 850g version was £2...?! Logic Mr T?

Also online http://www.tesco.com/groceries/product/search/default.aspx?searchBox=mash&N=4294870849 - the top one. Left others on screen for comparison. HTH

Just back from Barrow Tesco and found a new 1p pair of ladies socks!!

They are very soft cozy pink with a black diamante heart on them. Tucked at the back of other ladies socks were £2.50 but scanned at 1p.

Only one pair in Barrow but you may be lucky nationwide!

Some tomato and herb sauce back in at 20p but no cheap wrapping paper at all.
However a pack with wedding wrapping paper and label, has wedding cakes all over it scanning at 15p while SEL is 30p.

I think I may have to give up my search for these amazing 1p deals. I've been to 3 tescos today and none of them had any of the wrapping paper. So gutted!

wahoo!! got 3 pks of mens hankies priced £4.50 each for 1p each at tesco...my first ever 1p bargain.
Made the mistake of having it price checked and the SA said 'oh no i cant sell you this, it has to be dumped!!' i asked her why and she said because its only 1p?! I took one and she grabbed the hanging strip, so i grabbed another 2 and she said I wouldnt be able to put them throught the till, I took my chances and all 3 went through no bother!!...TROUT....

This is labelled up as £1.50 in Stafford but scans at 40p, thanks for the heads up!

Also if anyone else here is in Stafford, they have restocked the 10p chilli cook in sauce, and reduced the lamb casserole jars to 50p. The other tinned sauces are still £1.40, tried scanning them. No pasta sauce other than the 20p basil and herb stuff (but they had a few trays of that).

Got 4 x Homepride chilli at 10p each and some reduced mince to put in it!
3 x 10p chicken oxo
2 x 20p pasta sauce
Sunflower oil went thru at £1.30 so guess thats over.
Cumberland sausages scanned correctly so no DTD there,still a good deal at 12 for £2.....................anyone for sausage casserole????

Bought 15 Homepride Tomato and Herb Pasta Bake's today from Bar Hill Tesco, 30p each! A bargain considering we eat these all the time anyway! I'm a veggie so there are plenty of the other flavours left :-)

I was in WWX in Thanet today and they had a couple of trays of the Homepride chilli sauce tins so I got 4 of those (tins that is, not trays!) and some Tomato pasta sauce as well. No Oxo cubes or Homepride chicken sauce as far as I could see.

The Doritos 300g bags are going through at the right price (on BOGOF) and so are the smoothies (also BOGOF)

I did however get a lovely box of bricks for my granson's birthday for free - the ones mentioned in the separate thread. They still had 4 boxes left on the shelf if anyone is interested.
