There used to be 3 in my store. 1 was removed about 2 years ago and the 2nd one removed about 6 months ago.

The only one left is in the clothing section, but you need to be agile to use it or even see it as there is a rail of clothes a few centimetres in front of it. So you have to kind of reach in and hope it scans.

I have just taken things to the clothing till for a price check if they are not serving anyone.

I was told scanners are being removed from all stores over the next year or so, they didn't appear to know why but I do suspect its to stop us checking the price for mis-prices. (not sure if thats a real word) :rotfl:

Someone posted that the gillette fusion razor with 1 blade were going through at 75p.
