Thats the right barcode, have some right in front of me. :D

The ones in the green box same shape with aloe vera are scanning 27p but those are still in the boot of the car at the moment until I find a home for the others. And all the crisps I managed to get. :rotfl:

Have seen the tissues in quite a few stores, one both types were in boxes together SEL 27p but the barcode above definitely scanned 25p. One store had SEL for 25p ones which were out of stock but loads of the 27p ones next to the gap with no SEL. Another store only had the 25p ones and SEL was that price. I will get a box in tomorrow and post the barcode for the 27p ones. ;)

Thanks to everyone on this thread for all the 1p finds and the things to watch out for, totally addicted to the penny rush and I am now expert at the self scan tills, getting very quick and putting those 1p bargains through. :p

    ah thanks
i'm so thick, i din't realise the aloe vera ones were a second type, will go hunting tomorrow for these as shelf for the others was bare this evening:(

The tissues I have bought are the finest soft white tissues with aloe vera, barcode 5051399516509, scan at 27p.

I bought another 8 boxes today and the CA said that's a good deal isn't it? As soon as she'd served me, she got up and left the till (there was a queue behind me) and came back a minute later with the remaining few boxes of tissues and chucked them under her till! Made me chckle - couldn't work out if she were a trout or out for a bargain. Hope it was the latter!

She would have struggled to have done that in the store I got mine, she would have needed a trolley, there were loads left. :rotfl:

Thanks for saving me finding mine for the barcode. :)

If it's any help all the ones I have found and the empty gaps too have been on the bottom shelf. Almost like they don't want you to notice them. ;)

The Value variety 26pk crisps were reduced to approx 90p and then again to approx 45p - may be still available

I've been in 2 Extra stores and can't see Tesco Finest tissues of any description - are they being discontinued?

I think the ones in the rectangular boxes are because they were reduced previously and now down to these prices. I think maybe they were not a very good seller at their original price as mine have "New" marked in the top left corner. Wish I knew how to post pictures so you could see. Only 1 out of 3 stores I visited did not have them and they had ones same design as 25p ones of cream box with purple orchid, I think, but it was a square box and these were full price. :(

I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

If you cannot find the 45p Value variety packs look out for the Tesco Variey pack of 12 in blue packaging, these are only 44p.
Not quite as good bargain but a better quality. DD is moaning how the value ones don't have much flavour but I quite like them as they are not overpowering. HTHs
