The yellow half price 37p SEL had been replaced with the regular full-price 74p SEL and, sure enough, they scanned at full-price at the nearby customer scanner.

I did, however, manage to get 3 jars of caperberries and 2 packs of the Dormen's seasonal nuts :T

Couldn't find any of the tomato & Chilli though, which would have been the most useful item for my vegi-chillis.

I was doing my normal dtd shop on Saturday but picked up a few thing for an additional shop. Found the adzuki beans which were scanning at 1p.

I decided to pick a young lad at the checkout in the hope he wouldn't give a toss. He wouldn't put them through telling me the system is flagging them up as they cost a penny. I said 'perhaps Tesco want to sell them for a penny'. He wasn't having any of it and refused to sell um.

I couldn't be arsed to go through the tills again and get some more. Weird how Tesco want items flagged up one minute then they're full price the next.

I found Bird's Rum flavour sauce last night, I have been keeping my eye out for this as my son loves this on christmas pud all year round. Scanned at 1p - barcode 5000354700118.

We noticed 'Stagg chilli' - Barbecue chilli con carne on the reduced shelf in Tesco Stockton, but there was no price, so we checked with a member of staff. He returned saying it was 1p, instead of £1.69, so we purchased the 12 tins and then I suggested it might be on offer in other stores and the Hartlepool store was the only other out of 4 near us to have some and it scanned at 1p. It tastes even better when it's only 1p a tin. Barcode: 71106 51209 (on tin)
