I bought a few bag of those nuts when they were 39p thinking they were normal fruit and nuts but i think they are revolting like they have air freshener all over them. They made me retch wouldn't touch them even for 1p. Does every one else like them?

Went to a bigger Tesco on the way home from work tonight, ours is just a diddly wee one. Only find was 2 tins of the Adzuki beans. Labelled at 1p on the shelf!! Really wanted some of the tomatoes as I go through loads making soups & stews, which is where the beans are destined for!!

I picked up the following from the close date / dented tin area :
John West Sild in Sunflower Oil, was 64p, yellow-stickered as 45p, scanned at 1p, use-by date September 2011. And, Oriental Pacific tinned tuna slices with lime & black pepper, was 49p, yellow-sticker said 34p, scanned at 1p, use-by date July 2015. There were more tins of each but I was just trying one of each to up my fish intake in my diet, I had no idea they would be such a bargain, these are my first 1p items :)
