1p finds at Tesco thread

Last night I bought some Bowes Hill Caperberries in white wine vinegar (120 grams). They were originally priced at £2.49 and price was cut to 57p on the SEL, so I bought 4 and they scanned at 1p each. Barcode is 5060167 090387.

They were in the olive section. They taste a bit like salty soft olives. I then went back and bought the last 5 and said to the cashier they would scan at 1p and were probably a clearance item (no self serve that late) and she was good as gold and took the 5p !

She also said she often scans clothes at 1p and has been told to sell at that price.

Not 1p but also Tesco sweetcorn relish was 49p now 19p.

went to my local tesco looking for all these bargins (took a list to make sure i got the right stuff) and couldnt find a single thing

On the plus side I know of another high street shop that has 1p stock and have gotten some great stuff there

Tesco Barrow have whole mulled wine spices at 1p. They were hanging in the wine and spirits aisle with no SEL. Code is 5051790617393 Dated Sept 2011

Managed to get the cartons of tomatos and chilli for 1p in Tesco Newtownabbey. The shelf sticker said 14p and I picked up two, cashier put them through no problem. I only noticed I'd only been charged 1p when I got out to the car and swiftly sent my husband in to buy a few more, (the poor man always ends up doing my dirty work somehow) and he came out with the last one. Apparently that was all that was left but I'm nearly sure there was more just ten minutes previously..... Well pleased, little amuses the innocent and all that!

found in our local Tesco Bromley, Kent.
Tesco potato saute & bacon 400g tin in the tinned meals section with Stagg chilli, tinned curry's etc.
SEL 1p & luckily our 6 cans went through checkout fine & miserable looking assistant didn't say a word... literally not even please or thank you despite my being as friendly as possible.

I hardly ever spot these 1p deals so very chuffed I got some at last : )

Found Tesco brand tinned adzuki beans this morning, I think the shelf ticket showed reduced to something like 0.18 but they scanned at 1p. I intend to use them in soups and stews etc.

Thanks for posting, I managed to find these today. OH likes olives so hoping these will go down well.

Just wanted to say to everyone check again next time you are shopping even if your store does not seem to stock a particular 1p bargain one day you may be lucky to find it another. I checked for the Caperberries yesterday and none to be seen, in fact nothing with the make Bowes Hill, yet today a few items with that make including the caperberries which had SEL of over £2. Had the same with the cranberry sauce none in sight for a while and then appeared from nowhere.

Does get a bit difficult trying to remember them all so I have started to write a list!
