Just been into Tesco Gainsborough, they had the princes lean deli ham (tinned), said it was half price at £1.44 but scanned at 1p barcode: 5000232 839114

Tinned stuff can last way beyond the use by date, so long as the can is not breached. I just went out and there were none in my store, but I would have bought them even with that date on.

I did get the last 2 packs of soup though which was sel'd at 14p and went through at 59p, so I got DTD of £1.80. I noticed the CS area had been refurbished and the big blue sign with the DTD Policy was no longer there, but the assistant said they still did it.

The mayo which I wrote about a few weeks ago is now back on the shelves and scans at full price
Still virtually alcohol free since 4/1/15. (10 Xmas/ New Year/Birthday drinks)
It takes 3500 calories to lose a pound in weight. Target 13 lbs weight loss. 18.5lbs lost 2nd May - 28 September.

mine says dec 2010, but like caroc said, tinned stuff does last way beyond the date on it.

Got some of the Dormen Fruit and Nut mix today in Sandhurst - down in the crisp section remarkably enough, hanging on clipstrip. Left a few for whoever is interested!
