went to church in the wood, hastings....tried scanning the playmobil pirate set but came up full price...my first try.....doh!....couldnt find any other products as didnt have the time due to having child in the trolley....

We bought the Thomas the Tank Engine walker / ride-on toy at Hull St Stephens store ... price marked £23.98 .. scanned at £4 - cashier looked unsure, I foisted our money on him and ran :-D

Plenty of chestnuts at Hucknall - unfortunately, my 'most amazing phone in the world' has a crap battery life and it died before I could have a good look at the list so I don't know if there are any more bargains there. I did spend a few minutes looking for LEGO pirate sets.....sigh. And the pickles were full price.

For the DTD gang. There is a mustard in a squirty bottle that is SEL at 99p (half price) but scanned at £1.99. Despite that, I left it as I have quite a stash of mustard from B&M bargains that is going to take some eating.

Went to both Tescos in Colchester yesterday. Couldn't find any of the items in the one by the Hythe, and Highwoods had the shallots, the French's mustard and a squeaky chicken (don't know if it was the right one) but they were all scanning at full price.

In my store today the Tesco chocolate brazils were scanning at £1, but truffles still 25p. Got a rudolph tennis ball doy toy. Price scanned at 1p and sold with no questions.
However, also found Xmas M&Ms (were 23p a couple of weeks back), price checker scanned at 1p, but same checkout operator as for dog toy said computer said item withdrawn.
As with all 1p bargains there seems to be no consistency in pricing across the different stores.
Dogs very happy with toy, but no M&Ms for me...

Today I found some of the Devos Lemmens Mayonnaise with Lemon - I've removed the picture in the previous post as its not the same jar but similar. Stumpy jar, red lid, green paper seal, green and white label, 240 ml and bb 10/01/12. Barcode 5 414972 100616. It was on a reduced grocery shelf. Sel said half price 84p, and it scanned at 1p. Tastes great

:jCan anyone tell me if the barcode reader app is of any use for finding these 1p deals?

If so many more people could either use their phone or iPod touch to find these offers when the scanners in store are busy or not convenient

Also does anyone know where you can get these apps for other sorts of phones and which ones?
