oh chicken and mash is lovely, espesh with baked beans. simple yet yummy. and to fill out meal even more bread and butter. mashed spud sandwiches are gorgeous.

I may be a bit late on this one, but the way I do roasties is
Use red potaotes. Par boil them for about ten minutes, til the outsides are soft and the middles are a bit hard. Drain the potatoes, and put in about three tablespoons of flour. mix it in so th espuds are lightly coated.
Meanwhile, heat the oil in the roasting tray by putting it empty in the oven. If the oil is cold, it will be absorbed by the potatoes.
Add the spuds, and cost with the hot oil.
Cook for about twenty minutes (or the outsides are brown and the insides are soft, and hey presto. perfect roasties."Don't critisise what people look like, how they speak, where they are from, and what they are called. They cannot help it.
