I think chicken goes just fine with mash. Even nicer with some savoy cabbage mashed in it. And I have been known to make mash WITH creme friache and yum yum - it's very nice indeed.******** Never be a spectator of unfairness or stupidity *******"Always be calm and polite, and have the materials to make a bomb"0

I really like pommes boulangere - thinly slice the potatoes and layer them with a thinly sliced onion. Pour over stock, dot a little butter over the top, and bake until crispy. You can also add in layers of carrot, squash, sweet potatoes, parsnip, or other veggies that roast well. Yummy, and fairly low fat!2015 comp wins - £370.25
