We can get sports 1&2 + espn for £17 (staff deal) so it's looking to me that my best option is to take vision from the girls and get them a freeview box that they can record Paris and hollyoaks. Then everyone will be happy? Just need to source the cheapest freeview now? Do you agree chaps?0

Don't go for the cheapest Freeview PVR, the Hummy really is worth that bit extra, as the interface is so good.No free lunch, and no free laptop

Nothing wrong with a Humax refurb, you still get a 1 year warranty. But I would go for the 300T, not the 150T, the hard drive will hold twice as much Paris and Hollyoaks...No free lunch, and no free laptop

Thanks again:) I've bought the Hummy 150
It really should be good enough for the kids and I didn't really want to spend much. As you can tell they're already spoiled rotten and hopefully will be leaving home soon anyway
. Hope he'll be happy with his surprise

I sell BT Vision, it doesn't have multiroom because its an IPTV service technically, and you can't use two boxes, as far as I've been told BT are trying to get a multiroom sorted but it'll be a while.
A Playstation 3 (however not Wii or the Xbox360) can pick up the signal of BT Vision so you can use it as if its a box.0
