You dont need to tell them anything. If your brother AJKENNY needs any encouragement to simply ignore just send him here to have a look around.

After approx 3 letters from MET as well as a scary red last warning! I have now received a letter from Debt Recovery Plus Ltd threatening court action for an 'offence' that occured in McDonalds in east London in October 2010. My husband had parked there at various times throughout the day but the letters have pictures of his first entry and last exit indicating he stayed for over 4 hours. We have completely ignored all the other letters, should we continue to do so?? Advice please! How long will they continue?0

Yes continue to ignore, it can be annoying when the letters arrive but they will eventually give up!0 -
I have a query about MET. They sent me a letter in October with a parking charge for overstaying in Macdonald's. I wasn't driving and wrote back telling them this. They sent a further 3 letters and I replied in the same way each time. I sent a final letter this week by recorded delivery to make sure they received it. Today I received a letter from Debt Recovery Plus Ltd threatening court action. I telephoned them and they said it was unreasonable of me not to disclose the driver and quoted a 'landmark' case for the Oldham Chronicle where a judge enforced the fine. I have been unable to find the case referred to using the web site I was given. The person I spoke to said they were recording our conversation as a refusal to disclose the information and would pass the details to their legal team. Has anybody heard of this 'landmark case' as I'm concerned the law has changed as a result and they will be able to enforce the fine.0

A load of tosh, Stephen Thomas lied saying he wasn't the driver then posted on a website that he was and that he always parked there. It is also widely suspected this was a set up by a well none PPC operator.

They talk crap! you have no obligation to them to name the driver.0 -

As an after thought direct your complaints to MacDs, if you wish to write. Say you wont be using them again as Burger King don't employ !!!!!!!:D0 -
Just had a PCN from these jokers for parking in MacD's in Aylesbury one night, 11 o clock, hardly obstructing anybody at that time of night and I certainly hadn't gone shopping elsewhere at that time of night
Took them long enough to send it, luckily I work across the road (i was visiting at a different time, I hadn't driven from work) from it so visited one day to see the signs, not that visible at night as they''re not lit up and nothing near them to illuminate.
Did a lot a research through forums and on the net and was very glad I did, was about to send a very angry letter, not going to send anything now
Watched the watchdog clip where the guy makes the paper airplane out of it.....says it all really.
Anybody had any experiences where MET have taken them to court??0 -
